Genesis sheath-core fiber by Tandus flooring combines high-performance nylon with a bio-based polymer, and is the first bio-based fiber to meet Tandus Flooring’s commercial performance standards.

Genesis fiber is made of 15% biopolymer and 85% yarn-dyed or solution-dyed nylon. The biopolymer is derived 100% from annually renewable plant sugars from non-feed stock and emits 86% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than nylon.

Genesis fiber is currently available only as a custom order.
