GREEN BAY, WI, June 16, 2003 – KI combines comfort, affordability, and contemporary styling in its new Impulse™ advanced ergonomic task chair. Designed by noted Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti, Impulse was developed to provide effective ergonomic support and a fresh aesthetic at a highly-competitive price point.
Impulse’s look is complemented by its advanced function. An exposed pair of aluminum uprights support the two-part back. The lower section of the back, which articulates, enables the end-user to recline while maintaining support of the lumbar area.
“Customers are demanding affordable task chairs with advanced ergonomic features,” said Leo Welter, KI’s seating product manager. “KI is addressing this need by bringing to market a highly advanced chair with a fresh look at a moderate price.”
“With many task chairs, you lose contact with the lower back,” added Welter. “The lower portion of the Impulse chair’s back tilts toward you so the chair maintains contact with your lumbar area, even in the recline position.”
Backed by KI’s ten-year Structural Integrity Warranty, Impulse is available with or without arms, and with seat and back upholstery using standard KI, Pallas®, and C.O.M fabrics.
NOTE: Please note that the Impulse™ chair, from KI, is no longer in production. (Note date: 1/1/2009)
