July 30, 2002 LiNC-PLUS will make its marketing introduction at the PCSC booth during the upcoming 2002 ASIS show in Philadelphia. LiNC-PLUS for Windows, the company’s new access control and security management integration software, is designed to integrate, control and manage electronic security components and subsystems into a networked integrated security management solution. The software integrates electronic security products and subsystems from multiple manufacturers into a single, centralized and functional security system. Integration components can include programmable logic controllers (PLC), video badging, burglar alarm, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, digital video, sound, perimeter detection and parking/gate control.
“With the arrival of LiNC-PLUS, PCSC is able to offer customers a elegant, genuine and seamless integration of all components of their existing security system,” said Bob McKee, PCSC’s vice president of business development. “The software is able to transform a site’s current array of subsystems, with the usual expected variety of brands, into a single enterprise system network, as though they had always existed as one entity. This is an impressive and powerful feature which we know will be of great benefit to security management professionals.”
Key features of the software include user-defined graphical interface, text-to-speech annunciation module (TSA, full graphical drag-and-drop configuration, on-screen live video display (LVD), user-defined functionality, card management module (CMS), ODBC compliant database manager, video badging module (VBS), standard and user-defined reports, Ethernet LAN/WAN Compatibility, native client/server architecture, TCP/IP protocol, standard server redundancy, and digital video recording module (DVR).During the ASIS show, PCSC will conduct live demonstration sessions of LiNC-PLUS at its booth #201. Interested show guests are invited to attend the booth demo sessions for more information.
PCSC, formerly known as Proprietary Controls Systems Corporation, is a leading supplier of products and services for electronic access control and facility management applications in both domestic and international markets. PCSC is a subsidiary of T.T.I.K., Inc., and has been in business since 1983
