Metasys 14.0 adds new features and supports up to 800 IP devices.

The latest version of Metasys—Johnson Controls’ building automation system for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings—is designed to elevate a facility’s overall performance and sustainability while enhancing occupant comfort, health, and safety. Metasys 14.0 builds on the existing platform with new features, including the ability to deploy preconfigured energy dashboards that visually display and report on building energy usage, energy consumption details, and energy use by space.

Easy-to-configure applications adhering to ASHRAE Guideline 36 help increase HVAC equipment efficiency and performance with proven, standardized HVAC control sequences. Metasys 14.0 also includes Device Health Indicator, which proactively monitors predefined attributes to provide diagnostic feedback if the need arises. The BAS can now support up to 800 IP devices directly integrated with the ADS and ADX servers across a wide range of protocols, including BACnet/IP, BACnet/SC and ModBus TCP.
