Made from Japanese cypress, Gendai goes through an intense burning process to produce a strong, resilient, smooth and dark surface. Applied as wood siding and cladding, this product can be coated with 13 different finishes or left to naturally patina over time. The wood can last up to 80 years with little maintenance and serves as a carbon-negative alternative to chemically engineered cladding products.
