Trane Foundation Rooftop Units are transitioning to low-GWP R-454B. Available in capacities of 3 to 25 tons, the units will include factory-installed leak detection systems to save time and costs associated with installation. Larger units with 15- to 25-ton capacities will come standard with Symbio 700 unit controls to improve performance.
Foundation units are designed for immediate, like-for-like retrofit applications and fit a wide range of footprints in small to medium-sized buildings. Foundation Rooftop Units meet DOE 2023 efficiency requirements.
