Oblò is a decorative pendant lamp designed in collaboration with Italian architect and designer Paola Navaone of OTTO Studio. Oblò, the Italian word for porthole, has a fluid silhouette and a chromatic palette that evoke the sensations of the sea. Finishes range from iridescent to metallic blue, silk white, glossy smoke and transparent, demonstrating the versatility of Pyrex glass in lighting design.
Oblò’s intense luminosity is diffused through the glass to generate captivating effects with its colorful finishes. A hook and white fabric cable resemble naval ropes knotted to sea buoys, and the fabric cable also conceals the electric wiring that threads into the hook through the connecting knot. Choose from three globular shapes.
