Borrowing its spirit from the pioneering punk band, Black Flag by Flos is an extendable wall lamp with a strong presence. The latest result of the company’s collaboration with German designer Konstantin Grcic is composed of one vertical and three horizontal bars that take up minimum space when closed and provide maximum illumination when open. The expanding aluminum arm reaches up to 3.5 meters from a wall-mounted frame made of the same material.
Serving as both a wall lamp and a sculptural art piece, it provides direct and indirect lighting with greater up or down intensity achievable with dedicated touch buttons featured in the stem. Black Flag has a color temperature of 2700K and a Color Rendering Index rating of 90.
