Amerlux has released Hornet 2.5, a low-glare recessed series that blends into ceilings while ensuring high performance in precision, comfort, and beam control. It delivers up to 2,000 lumens at 100 lumens per watt from a discreet 2.5-inch aperture. It’s designed to reduce ceiling brightness and trim glare, while its adjustable model delivers smooth 40-degree tilt-and-shift aiming with minimal beam cutoff, even past 30 degrees.
The Hornet 2.5 series includes downlights, wall washers, and adjustable fixtures that appear virtually identical from ground level for a cohesive aesthetic. Each fixture is offered in six wattage levels from 6W to 19W and four color temperatures from 2700K to 4000K, with a standard 90-plus Color Rendering Index for accurate color rendering.
