Keep Facilities Safe from Lithium-Ion Battery Fires with This Under Bench Storage Unit

DENIOS introduces asecos under bench cabinets for the safe storage of undamaged lithium-ion batteries. The cabinets deliver 90 minutes of fire protection from the outside in or the inside out, plus a pressure relief valve that is usually closed, but will open to release internal pressure if it builds up.

The construction includes a tested liquid-tight spill sump to contain leaks or burning or defective batteries. The oil-damped door closer and permanent self-closing doors ensure smooth, secure operation. Doors can be locked with a profile cylinder and feature a red or green lock indicator. Each cabinet includes wheels for easy movement and leveling feet for use on uneven floors. The top shelf capacity is 55 pounds and the bottom shelf capacity is 110 pounds; DENIOS recommends placing it on the ground floor to ensure it can be evacuated quickly in the event of an incident.
