Smart buildings technology reaches the self-storage industry

BETCO Inc., a specialist in the design and construction of custom self-storage buildings, on Sept. 7 announced the launch of what the firm contends is among the self-storage industry’s very first smart building technology bundles.

The BETCO smart building design integrates award-winning products and technology solutions from BETCO with those of Janus International Group, Inc. and its Nokē® Smart Entry subsidiary.

The foundation of the smart building design on offer is a skillfully crafted custom BETCO building facility featuring roll-up doors from Janus that are known for their ease of installation, operation and maintenance.

Janus International is a top global manufacturer and supplier of turn-key self-storage, commercial and industrial building systems, including roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, re-locatable storage units and facility and door automation technologies. The Janus team operates out of several U.S. locations and six locations internationally.

The BETCO smart building offering for self-storage facilities is completed with robust technology and security products and integrations from the Janus Nokē Smart Entry division. Such innovative solutions include the Nokē smart locks and Nokē smart keypads, as well as smart camera and thermostat integration through the Nokē Smart Entry platform.
