The ceramic granules and acrylic-based CoolStar coating on this roll roofing product provide a durable, heat-reflective cap sheet over organic and inorganic built-up roofing (BUR) systems.
Flintglas has a solar reflectance rating of 0.77 and a thermal emittance rating of 0.92 from the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC).
Flintglas has a heavy coating of weathering-grade asphalt, and its wet process fiber glass mat provides strength and moisture resistance. Its thickness is 120 mils (3 mm).
