Achieve a UL Class A fire rating with one layer.
One layer of VersaShield Solo slip sheet between a combustible deck and TPO provides a UL Class A fire rating in approved assemblies, similar to the rating provided by gypsum-based boards.
This fire resistance helps buildings withstand exposure to fires originating from outside sources, including chimney sparks, brush fires, or airborne brands ejected from nearby buildings.
The heavy slip sheets are 6 feet wide and made of dimensionally stable fiberglass. Using a single layer can help reduce installation costs compared to other slip sheets that require multiple layers for an equivalent fire rating.
