Crane 1000 Series Revolving Doors by DORMA Americas
June 2, 2011
By reducing the pressure differential at the opening, 1000 Series Revolving Doors cut down on entrance air infiltration, reducing heating and cooling costs. Infiltration after one person uses the door amounts to about 60 cubic feet compared to about 900 cubic feet per person for a single-bank swinging door. The doors are created from 0.125-inch rigid aluminum and managed by a 100:1 precision-geared manual speed control. The Bookfold Collapse Lock provides emergency egress but won't release during high-speed winds or stack conditions.
