The new OSTAR Compact LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is characterized by improved high-current capability and lower thermal resistance for more light output. The Compact is accommodated in the same 3.9 mm x 3.6 mm package size as the previous version, enabling small projectors to be designed with higher brightness without increasing their size. It can handle up to 6A in pulsed mode, making it ideal for pico and pocket projectors for small mobile terminals.
