The Dyson Airblade V hand dryer dries hands in 12 seconds. Conventional hand dryers use one column of warm air to evaporate water from both hands.
With unreliable sensors, intermittent drafts of air, and patchy drying, most users simply give up. The Airblade V angles two sheets of 420mph air at 115 degrees to scrape off water like a windshield wiper.
A brushless DC motor uses digital pulse technology for optimum efficiency, and capacitive sensors detect a user’s hands for button-free operation. A HEPA filter removes 99.97% of bacteria from the dryer air at 0.3 microns.
